The Jewish Internet Defence Force Distributed Denial-Of-Service attack, or JIDF DDOS for short, was an attack on the Facepunch servers that caused lengthy downtimes on the 10th of September, 2011. Following the DDOS, a user by the name of TheJIDF.org created a thread stating that the forum was "one of the biggest anti-Israel and anti-semite forums on the Internet, and will therefore be taken down by www.TheJIDF.org."[1]. The Original Poster was permabanned shortly after.

On the website of the JIDF, they claimed to have nothing to do with the DDOS attacks.[2]
